Bernstein Shur Announces New Shareholders

Portland and Augusta, ME and Manchester, NH (Jan 3, 2018) – Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, announced the election of Peter Herzog, Lindsay Zahradka Milne and David Schneider as shareholders.

Peter Herzog is a member of the Labor and Employment Practice Group. Herzog practices in all areas of employment law, providing counsel and representation to employers on issues regarding federal and state leave laws, wrongful termination, wage and hour laws, restrictive covenants, workplace harassment, discrimination, and other evolving labor and employment issues. Herzog is a member of the ME State Bar Association and serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for The Center for Grieving Children. He earned his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law and resides in Scarborough, ME.

Lindsay Zahradka Milne is a member of the Business, Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group. Milne advises borrowers in streamlining their operations (including asset disposition) and reorganizing their capital structures, both in chapter 11 and out of court, and advises lenders and other parties-in-interest in workout negotiations and bankruptcy-related litigation. Milne is a member of the New England Board for the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation and the American Bankruptcy Institute, and serves on the advisory board for the ABI’s Northeast Bankruptcy Conference. She is a member of the ME State Bar Association and also admitted to the New York State Bar. Milne earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and resides in Windham, ME.

David Schneider is a member of the Business Practice Group and specializes in a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, structuring effective executive compensation plans, and employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) transactions. Schneider is a member of the ME State Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. He earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and resides in South Portland, ME.
