Bernstein Shur attorney Alysia Melnick provides insights for Maine Public’s Maine Calling segment on Maine’s Marijuana Industry

Attorney, Alysia Melnick joined Maine Public on Maine Calling this morning alongside Erik Gundersen, the director of Maine’s Office of Cannabis Policy and several other callers to discuss the rapidly growing cannabis industry, it’s economic impact, a state report that finds that the legal cannabis market has reduced illicit sales as well as developments in the supply and demand of medical marijuana.

Alysia is an attorney in Bernstein Shur’s Government Affairs practice group. She also represents the Maine Craft Cannabis Association and served as political director for the 2016 citizens’ initiative that made cannabis legal for all adults 21 and over. She is also a member of Maine’s Marijuana Advisory Commission.
