Bernstein Shur Shareholder Lindsay Zahradka Milne was selected to join a panel of bankruptcy industry leaders at the 97^th Annual Conference of the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges, taking place October 11 through 14 in Austin, Texas.

Together with Eric Brundstad (Partner at Dechert), Erica Weisgerber (Partner at Debevoise & Plimpton) and Judge Stacey Jernigan (Chief Judge, Northern District of Texas.), Lindsay—whose national practice supports clients navigating financial distress or seeking to acquire distressed assets—will provide insight during the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) Program: Various Paths to Redress in Bankruptcy panel on Friday of the conference. This panel will discuss avenues for litigants to pursue their rights after an adverse decision at the bankruptcy court.

Lindsay currently serves as Co-Chair of the Unsecured Trade Creditors Committee for the ABI, the nation’s largest association of bankruptcy professionals made up of 11,000 members. She joined the ABI as a member in 2015, was recognized as a “40 Under 40” honoree in 2018, and has achieved recognition and served in leadership roles ever since.
