Adam R. Prescott Selected for American Bankruptcy Institute’s 2023 “40 Under 40” Emerging Leaders in Insolvency Practice

Bernstein Shur is proud to announce that attorney and shareholder Adam R. Prescott was named to the  American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) 2023 “40 Under 40” Emerging Leaders in Insolvency Practice list. The award recognizes the top 40 insolvency industry professionals under the age of 40.

ABI annually identifies 40 top bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring professionals who “demonstrate remarkable ability, leadership, and achievement in the bankruptcy and insolvency community.” A steering committee of senior professionals in the insolvency community selected winners based on their professional achievements and personal qualities.  The honorees will be recognized at a special ceremony on December 1 during ABI’s 2023 Winter Leadership Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Adam joins shareholder Lindsay Zahradka Milne, a 2018 honoree, in earning this recognition.

At Bernstein Shur, Adam works with businesses and individuals in bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring, and other complex commercial matters to guide them through challenging financial situations, with an emphasis on representing debtors in chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings around the country.  Adam also regularly shares his expertise through written thought leadership and by participating on educational panels about topical bankruptcy issues, particularly recent developments impacting small businesses under the Small Business Reorganization Act of 2019.
