Shareholder Helen Sterling Coburn Will Open the CEI “Do Well & Do Good Part II” Webinar

On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, Bernstein Shur Shareholder Helen Sterling Coburn of the Business Law Practice Group will open the “Do Well & Do Good Part II” webinar with the CEI (Coastal Enterprises, Inc.) Women’s Business Center. Helen will give an overview of different legal entity structures (benefit corporations, non-profit corporations, and L3Cs) that enable entrepreneurs to structure their businesses in a way that empowers them to have a purpose beyond simply generating profits. She will join fellow panelists and business leaders Becky McKinnell of iBec Creative, Hazel Stark of Maine Outdoor School, and Jennifer Field Piette of Narrative Food. They will discuss how, when, and why they established their business status, as well as their tips and lessons for those looking to follow a similar path.
