Not long ago, Asha reflects, she was “up and coming,” and now with 20 years of experience in the construction industry as both a licensed professional engineer and an attorney, she is looking forward to sharing her perspective.

“Similar to Bernstein Shur’s annual Women in Construction and Project Development event, this is another opportunity to widen the tent of women in this industry,” said Asha. “Women need to see women, both ahead of them and behind them on their career path, and this is great opportunity for me to see that spectrum and step into my role along the line.”

Asha is a shareholder at Bernstein Shur specializing in negotiation of construction and energy contract and related dispute resolution. In addition to being an attorney, Asha is a licensed professional engineer, with LEED accreditation and years of experience designing and coordinating multi-million dollar projects as a civil engineer. Her firsthand experience with the ins and outs of construction and energy projects makes her an especially effective advocate in litigation matters and contract negotiations spanning those fields. Asha has a person passion for supporting women in the construction industry, and is a founder of Bernstein Shur’s annual Women in Construction and Project Development event.
