Grimes is the only attorney in Northern New England to receive the designation.

Grimes has spent more than 30 years representing the interests of private energy generators, banks, contractors and other entities in the power generation industry. He has been active abroad since 1995 in countries such as Brazil, India, Indonesia, and the Dominican Republic. His practice includes matters related to energy plant construction and operation including project development, due diligence, negotiation of construction contracts and long term parts and service agreements as well as all forms of dispute resolution. Grimes has represented owners and contractors in numerous disputes related to equipment failure, power purchase agreements, power plant construction and insurance recovery in the U.S. and abroad.

Grimes is admitted to practice in ME and New Hampshire. He lives in Durham, ME.
