Bernstein Shur Welcomes Litigation Attorney Christina Ferrari
Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, welcomes Christina Ferrari to the firm’s Manchester, N.H. office.
Ferrari joins the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, where she will focus on civil litigation, employment, administrative and healthcare law and government relations for individuals and businesses in the state of New Hampshire. As part of her practice, Ferrari regularly appears before state and federal courts and before numerous state agencies.
Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, Ferrari was a litigation associate at a Concord, N.H. firm, where she represented individuals and entities in complex civil litigation in both state and federal courts, and where her practice included business litigation, administrative law, employment law and appellate advocacy. Previous to that, while practicing as an associate attorney in Manchester, N.H., she focused on medical and professional malpractice as well as personal injury and administrative law. While in law school, Ferrari also served as a law clerk to the Honorable James E. Duggan, of the New Hampshire Supreme Court, in Concord, N.H.
A native of Gainesville, Va., Ferrari received her J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, cum laude, and was a member of the Daniel Webster Scholars Program. She received her B.A. from Boston University and her M.A. from the Boston University School of Medicine, where she researched neurosurgery techniques for neuronal regeneration after stroke at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Mass. Her work has been published in the Journal of Neuroscience in both the June 2009 and April 2011 issues.
Ferrari is admitted to practice in the state of New Hampshire. She is an executive board member of the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association. She is also an active member of the American Bar Association, New Hampshire Bar Association, New Hampshire Association for Justice and the New Hampshire Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association. She resides in Amherst, N.H.
