Volunteer Who’s ‘Been There’ Helps Portland’s Homeless Vets

Roger Goodoak, represented by Arnie Macdonald, was featured this week in a Portland Press Herald article on his role as Founder and Executive Director of the ME Homeless Veterans Alliance. Goodoak is himself a Vietnam veteran, and was homeless for many years. He started the nonprofit in order to help Portland’s homeless and to connect homeless veterans to the help they’re eligible for through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
