Bernstein Shur Welcomes Attorney James D. Kerouac

Manchester, NH and Portland and Augusta, ME (July 10, 2017) – Bernstein Shur, one of northern New England’s largest law firms, welcomes James D. Kerouac as a shareholder to the firm’s Manchester, New Hampshire office.

Kerouac joins the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group where he will focus on all manner of commercial real estate and commercial lending transactions.

Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, Kerouac previously practiced at Wadleigh, Starr & Peters and at Nixon Peabody. He is rated AV Preeminent ® by Martindale Hubbell and is listed in Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America and was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2009-2014. Kerouac is also passionately committed to pro bono and community service, and serves as a member of the Campaign for Legal Services Leadership Council, the InTown Manchester Board of Trustees, and the New Hampshire Access to Justice Commission. He also, until recently, served as Chairman of the Board for New Hampshire Legal Assistance and the Legal Advice and Referral Center.

Kerouac earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and his B.S. cum laude, and B.A. cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire. He is admitted to practice in the states of ME, New Hampshire and Rhode Island as well as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
