Attorneys on the Bernstein Shur Business Restructuring and Insolvency (BRI) team will make a strong appearance at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) annual Northeast Bankruptcy Conference & Northeast Consumer Forum on July 8-10 in North Falmouth, Massachusetts.

BRI Practice Group Co-Chair and Shareholder Bob Keach joins a panel called, Business Track: Navigating the Current Developments and Shoals of Subchapter V Cases, which will interactively explore the current legislative context of subchapter V, measures and strategies for its success, impediments to its broader use, bad faith or improper purposes, current developments, and what might need to be fixed.

Associate Letson Boots will join a panel called Business Track: Litigation, which will explore issues related to expert witnesses in the context of bankruptcy litigation.

Shareholder and ABI Board Member, Lindsay Zahradka Milne, will host an invite-only Emerging Leaders Luncheon and Program with other ABI Board Members. This is the second year Lindsay has served as the Co-Chair of the Northeast Bankruptcy Conference, helping to craft and lead the educational content of this conference. She also co-chairs the Unsecured Trade Creditors Committee.

The Consumer Forum this year will focus on sophisticated financial scenarios that practitioners often face, providing attendees with exclusive insights on current consumer bankruptcy issues and allowing for meaningful participation with the panelists on these topics.
