Bernstein Shur tax and estate planning attorney and shareholder Nelson Toner will present at the 2023 Maine Tax Forum on November 8 and 9, 2023. This two-day, live virtual program is especially beneficial to experienced professionals providing tax advice to clients and assisting with more complex tax situations. It provides IRS Continuing Education credits, Continuing Legal Education credits, and Continuing Professional Education for CPAs.

In his session, S Corporation Insights (2023) and Privileged Communications with Clients, Nelson will provide tax professionals with an update on S corporation tax matters and insights into S corporation transactions. In addition, this session will review Supreme Court action in the In Re Grand Jury case regarding professional advisor-client privilege where the communication has a dual purpose.
