Join the Maine State Chamber of Commerce for a webinar with Shareholder Robert J. Keach & Adam R. Prescott where they will discuss Subchapter V of Chapter 11, as amended by the recently-enacted Bankruptcy Threshold Adjustment and Technical Corrections Act. The Act provides a speedy and cost-effective method for restructuring businesses with a debt of $7.5 million or less that has been very successful since its initial 2020 effective date.
They will also discuss the brief history of the statute (and the panelists’ role in its passage and amendment), what businesses are eligible for such relief, and the advantages of a Subchapter V restructuring over other alternatives.
