In case you missed it:
The Fall Retreat of the Board of Directors of the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations (NCWBA) was hosted by Bernstein Shur’s Shiloh Theberge in Portland, ME, this past September. During the four-day conference, the topic of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) was explored and discussed during NCWBA’s GOOD (Guys Overcoming Obstacles to Diversity) Guys™ program.
The GOOD Guys event included remarks from Teresa Beck, Shareholder and Co-Chair of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for Klinedinst Law, a firm headquartered in San Diego handling litigation in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Washington, and a presentation by Sheryl Axelrod, a nationally recognized DEI expert.
The program featured a panel discussion with several law firm leaders moderated by Joan Fortin, CEO of Bernstein Shur.
