Asha A. Echeverria (AV^® Preeminent) is a member of the Construction Law and Energy and Environmental Practice Groups. She handles a variety of claims involving insurance, energy, construction and general commercial matters. In her insurance practice, she counsels clients through insurance reviews as part of their risk management analysis, and assists clients in the purchase of appropriate policies and endorsements, including data security policies. As a licensed professional engineer and LEED Accredited Professional, she is heavily involved in construction matters in complex construction litigation, contract drafting and negotiation, lien and bond claims, defect claims and contract disputes.

A resident of Cumberland, ME, Echeverria earned her JD from The George Washington University Law School and her BSE from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a board member of the Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce and the USGBC ME Chapter and is an active member of the ABA Forum on Construction Law.
