Bernstein Shur Welcomes Two New Attorneys
Associates Bring ME and New Hampshire Supreme Court Experience to Firm
Portland and Augusta, ME and Manchester, NH (September 12, 2012) – Bernstein Shur, one of New England’s largest law firms, announced the addition of attorneys Talesha L. Caynon and Meredith C. Eilers to the firm’s Litigation Group.
Talesha L. Caynon, a resident of Nashua, New Hampshire, joined the firm’s Manchester, New Hampshire office. Her practice focuses on litigation for business and employment clients.
Prior to joining Bernstein Shur, Caynon served as a judicial clerk for Associate Justice Carol Ann Conboy of the New Hampshire Supreme Court. As a judicial clerk she analyzed complex legal issues and observed appellate arguments for New Hampshire’s highest court. Caynon received her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and earned her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Franklin Pierce College. She is admitted to practice law in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Meredith C. Eilers, a resident of Portland, ME, joined the firm’s Portland, ME office. Eilers’s practice will focus on a variety of litigation matters for Bernstein Shur’s clients.
Eilers served as a judicial clerk for Associate Justice Jon D. Levy of the ME Supreme Judicial Court. She earned her J.D. summa cum laude from Vermont Law School, where she served as editor of The Vermont Law Review and was named a dean’s fellow. Eilers earned her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, where she studied biology and anthropology. She is admitted to practice law in ME.
