Bernstein Shur’s Kai McGintee Appointed to ME Board of Bar Examiners

March 30, 2022 — Bernstein Shur’s Kai McGintee has been appointed by Governor Janet Mills to serve on the ME Board of Bar Examiners, effective March 25, 2022.

The Board was created by the Supreme Judicial Court pursuant to 4 M.R.S. § 801 for the purposes of “designing, administering and passing judgment on examinations taken by those individuals seeking admission to the bar.”

Bernstein Shur has a long history of service on the ME Board of Bar Examiners. The late Sumner Bernstein, son of Bernstein Shur’s founding attorney Israel Bernstein, served as the chair of the Board. Linda McGill completed a six-year term as a member of the ME Board of Bar Examiners in 2019.
