Jim Kerouac Elected Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers

Manchester, NH and Portland and Augusta, ME (March 18, 2021) – Bernstein Shur Shareholder Jim Kerouac has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, the premier organization of U.S. real estate lawyers.

Kerouac is one of two attorneys in New Hampshire that currently holds this designation, as well as the only attorney in the state to hold dual fellowships at both the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and the American College of Mortgage Attorneys.

“I am deeply honored to be elected as a fellow of the ACREL,” said Kerouac. “I consider this to be the highest professional honor of my legal career and am dedicated to further advancing  the practice of real estate law in this new role.”

Admission to the college is by invitation-only after a selective nomination and rigorous screening process. Fellows are distinguished, nationally known practitioners who have been elected to fellowship for their outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law. Nominees must also have made significant efforts towards educating the public on industry matters and working to improve the practice of real estate law.
