Here’s why you’ll enjoy working with him.

Alex spent seven years of his early career as a Logistics Officer in the US Marine Corps—an experience that shaped his creative, systematic, and client-focused approach as an attorney. A litigator focused on real estate, Alex’s practice centers on a variety of disputes related to boundaries, easements, titles, liens and other encumbrances, roads and access issues, access to beaches and bodies of water, partitions, and purchase and sale agreements.

During his service, Alex learned the importance of being a diplomat and uniting diverse interests, sometimes in conflict, to guide large groups towards a common goal—and when diplomacy fails, Alex learned as a US Marine Corps Captain how to vigorously, assertively, and relentlessly achieve his objectives. Alex brings these skills to his practice, where he is a dogged advocate for his clients with an innate ability to harmonize efforts to achieve desired outcomes. An active listener, Alex thrives on tackling complex problems, breaking them down into digestible, actionable tasks, and methodically addressing each item to meet his client’s expectations. This includes an ability to convey legal concepts clearly. To Alex, the practice of law is a tool to achieve his client’s ultimate goals. He is effective, deliberate, and poised.

In addition to his real estate practice, Alex serves part time as a Judge Advocate in the Maine Army National Guard, where he advises commanders on various matters related to employment and military justice, military operations, and transactions.

In his former life, Alex was:

  • Litigation associate at a regional law firm in Boston and Portland
  • Legal intern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Maine
  • Operations manager at a composite materials bridge building company
  • Logistics Officer in the United States Marine Corps

When Alex isn’t working, he is …

Exploring the Maine woods with his wife and their dog, Juno. During his spare time, he is an amateur furniture maker.
