Here’s why you’ll enjoy working with him.
Tony knows entrepreneurship and innovation, and lives it with his clients. He provides day-to-day counseling and transactional assistance to a wide range of growing businesses spanning software, e-commerce, renewable energy, manufacturing, and other advanced technologies. Tony has practiced law with Bernstein Shur for three decades, and since the late 1990s has assisted countless start-up and established technology companies with everything from raising angel and venture capital, to developing and commercializing new products and services, to negotiating sales and mergers.
Additionally, Tony is the manager of TechVentures Group, a business advisory division of Bernstein Shur. In this capacity, Tony helps new and growing companies assemble outsourced management teams designed to assist with growth, equity and debt financing, strategic alliances, and more.
But that’s not all. Tony is also very experienced in:
- Data security and privacy issues
- Product development across a range of industries
- Joint ventures
- The development and protection of intellectual property
- Negotiation of national and international commercialization and distribution agreements
In his former life, Tony was:
- A student and then an associate at Bernstein Shur. He knew right away that this was the firm for him.
When Tony isn’t working, he is…
Serving on the board of the Maine Center for Entrepreneurial Development and as a mentor in the organization’s Top Gun program. Otherwise he’s hanging out with his family at Sebago Lake, brushing up on his Spanish, or getting in some exercise via cycling, tennis, and his continuing role as the longest tenured member of the firm’s softball team. He also fantasizes regularly about learning to play the guitar.
